Meet Pam

Hi there! Thanks so much for stopping by!

My name is Pam Davidson. I am the author, owner, designer, and maker of everything Little Bird!
Little Bird Kindergarten started in 2012, but really I guess it started long before that! I have always loved creating resources and sharing them with my teaching buddies. I love that my buddies are world-wide now! It's always been important to me that kids love my activities.
If they love it, I know they are having fun while they are learning! Best practices first. Always.

I am an Arizona native, attended Arizona State for my Bachelor's in Early Childhood, and
Northern Arizona University for my Master's. Being a teacher is EVERYTHING to me!
I taught pre-school while I was attending college, and then I taught kindergarten for 28 years.
I have retired from my 30+ year full time teaching career, but still guest-teach for a couple months of the year, and consult with teachers who need mentoring, etc.

I feel so lucky that I still have a role in helping kids learn, even after my full time teaching career!

I have been married to my best friend, Derek, for over 30 years! We have a son, Kale, he lives in Tennessee and is a medical student. Our daughter, Chelsea, is an interior designer. She is married to
the best guy, Jackson. We are looking forward to having our first grand-baby in January!

I have notebooks full of ideas that I want to develop, and love to go and try my new ideas out
when I visit different grades. I feel like when I am creative in one area, it makes me
more creative in other areas! I love creating physical goods too, so I began my Etsy store to give me
a place to provide "hard goods" to my customers.
